    • Excellence in escalation. The execution is a brilliant riot. Past mysteries are solved, opening a slew of new mysteries amid the snark-a-thon. Roller coaster would be too gentle a comparison. I recommend picking it upaynesilvers/l/448

    • Just finished Beta Reading “Tiny Gods: A Novel in the Nate Temple Supernatural Thriller Series (The Temple Chronicles Book 6)” by Shayne Silvers. If I’m completely honest, I must say I had some angst and a bit of trepidation after reading the first couple chapters. I’m not really sure what it was, but I just didn’t feel that usual Shayne Silvers flow in the story. That being said, redemption came, and the flow that I so love in Shayne’s writing returned with gusto. The introduction o [...]

    • A car chase and shootout were in full swing, Alucard crazily driving the wrong way down the street while Nate berates him for not getting them out of the line of fire of the mob-like weregorillas. They had to circle around to pick up Yahn at the dance school and Nate’s satchel which would be needed for their escape. Unfortunately, in the melee that followed, one of the Reds, dragon shifters, scratched Yahn – so there just might be an issue later if he sprouts shiny disco scales and breathes [...]

    • This book is packed to the gills with excitement, twists, revelations and so much more that I couldn't put it down. Nate has his birthday coming up, but with so many enemies he may not actually get to celebrate it. I love how all the characters are complex and well developed and you connect with them whether you love or hate them. It was great how this book bring things from the previous books together that you have to keep turning the page to see what will happen next. Don't worry we still have [...]

    • Tiny Gods is the best Nate Temple yet. The action is nearly non-stop, the characters an excellent blend of traits (and races--wizards, werewolves, dragons, etc.). I saw my favorite characters from previous books with new additions for this one. Mr. Silvers more than captures my attention with the plot, characters, pace, language, and humor. Especially, the humor. I laughed out loud reading this book, which is somewhat rare for me. I guess it was a good thing I was reading at home! Nate has becom [...]

    • What do you do when your fiance wants you dead, so does one of your ancestors, your house is alive, and , oh yeah, its your birthday too? wee, if you are Nate Temple, you just get on with another normal day. Nate is back for the sixth installment in his ever exciting and snarky saga. In this installment, we see Nate learning about and coming to terms with may of the players and machinations that have been playing in the background since the beginning of the series. So, if you have read ANY other [...]

    • Tiny Gods? How about Massive Cluster***So the last few Nate Temple books have been consistently turning up the action and introducing new and more powerful characters. I for one have loved every single bit of it. If you enjoy fantasy, action, mythology, and The 4 Horsemen (ahem), or just a good bottle of scotch and a legendary cigar, then these books are most certainly for you.

    • Shayne did it againHoly s#itballsShayne has done it againNate starts this one out already in trouble"Be careful of my balls they're fragilegical spheres I mean spheres".hahahaa had me laughing out loud in public. This series just keeps getting better and better.leaves you wanting more. Can't wait for September.

    • What a read! Even better than the first book and that is going some."toe-tah-lee awesome" (read the book to see where this comes from)I didn't think the Nate Temple series could get any better but it has!The only con side is the massive wait for the next book in the series to arrive!I received a free copy of this book

    • Tiny but MightyThis is definitely one of my favourite Nate Temple novels. There's Icabod, an update on the nefarious Indie and everyone else you can think of. You definitely won't miss out on a thing with this scathinglngly mesmerising novel. As a riveting reader of the Feathers series I can't wait to see where this goes next.

    • Seriously. I have to wait until September?Really enjoyed Tiny Gods. It was a great combination of action humor and pure aggregation! The story, though stuck with mythos we've accepted as normal, has enough imagination to keep me coming back.

    • A snarky brutal rompMr Silver's deserves all the praise and laudits for this series! I am a voracious reader, poor reviewer, and complete fan! With this series he demonstrates that. He is able to and does write in the company of some heavy hitters. I have read all the Temple books in just 3 days with very little sleep, any author that can get that king of commitment from me earnings my respect. Are the books a bit formulaic ? (The reason this is only a 4 star review) Yes but the continuous infusi [...]

    • Silvers has pressed determinedly for continued growth and escalation for his characters, and each book shows him pushing higher and going further each time to the point where he doesn't even attempt to meet the standard of his prior novels but pushes past them to set the bar anew. Tiny Gods is the most violently chaotic one yet in terms of emotions, questions answered and new questions taking their place left and right as enemies and allies are popping up in droves with little to no true indicat [...]

    • **This book should come with a health warning!!!** The laugh out loud moments will make you look like a crazy person and the fast pace will have you neglecting your family, household chores and even your personal hygiene.Tiny Gods is the sixth book in the Nate Temple series and it does not disappoint. In actuality it is faster paced than its predecessors and in my opinion the sarcasm is more plentiful and the funny dialogue more hilarious.Shayne Silvers is a guy you would want to have a beer wit [...]

    • This made-up word, Gnossienne (the flash of awareness that you really don't know the people you thought you should know best - from John Koenig's Dictionary of Obscure Sorrows website), is something Nate Temple should be able to relate to fully after the events of Tiny Gods. No doubt some of the revelations he hears are things he should expect given what his life has been like lately, and some are things he has asked for, or at least wants to know, but others he must find as confusing as we do.I [...]

    • Action packed thrill rideTiny Gods is my favorite book to date in the series. So many questions answered but so many more left unanswered and new ones unfurled. It's amazing that this is book 6 and still no signs of the series faultering or going stale. Each book continues to build upon the foundation of Nate's life but retains a fresh story line and expanding characters. He hasn't lost his snark but the stakes have been upped and he has started to resort to drastic measures. I mean come onwhen y [...]

    • Wow!All the major characters are all there, including Mad Hatter. Knowing who he really is, oh boy. I think the biggest surprised was - oh my gosh?? Mallory is who, or what?? I was shocked for sure, but I now finally understand why he is so important. Mallory has been with Team Nate since the first book. It seems that Nate no matter what tries to do the right thing. What a awesome fight/get together was! Like one big pissed off family. Nate finds out more about his family tree. Ex-girlfriend fin [...]

    • Is war coming? Is Indie his enemy?Book 6 of the Nate Temple series. Great book. Awesome series. I just love the characters and the author is super creative and even though it's book 6, the story is ever-changing, there's always a new twist, an unexpected. In this book, we just had a humdinger of a cliffhanger. So once again, I'm excited to start the next book when it's availableI still think the thing I appreciate the most in regards to the author's writing is his ability to incorporate humor. I [...]

    • The Nate Temple series just keeps getting better and better. I have come to love Nate and his team of friends and allies. Mr. Silvers keeps the books funny, sarcastic and moving. Nate is learning he is more than just a wizard, but to what extent? In Tiny Gods, Nate and his friends, family and enemies are not what they always seem to be. Even his parents that are now souls in the Armory may not have been what they seemed to be when they were alive. This book leaves you on a cliff hanger, which ma [...]

    • So, I have to admit that I a have read these books in somewhat of a frenzy and some of the story linesfrom one book to the next get muddled in my brain. But it doesn't matter, because the outcome isthe same. Shayne Silvers has taken somewhat familiar characters and made them Shaynetastic (aka awesome and amazing) I initially started reading this series through kindle unlimited and felt guilty and have gone back and purchased books to ensure that Shayne can support his caffeine habit and continue [...]

    • Tiny Gods is yet another example of the author's ability to weave and incredible story that will leave you begging for more! Expect laughter, tears and heart pounding chills as you journey with Nate Temple on his latest adventure! His team is filled with legend, lore and fantasy characters the you can't help falling in love with. This is a must read for anyone who enjoys a total immersion story line with all the ups and downs of a runaway train! Five Stars is not enough!shaynesilvers/l/448

    • Holy cliff hanger, Batman!I could learn to hate Shayne Silvers for where he left this particular story hangingbut then I wouldn't be able to read the next book, on principle, so I just have to suck it up. There's no way to truly give this book the review it deserves without spoilers, so instead, I'll just say thiswhen I realized I had just read the last few words of the book, I let out an audible gasp of horror realizing I'd now have to wait for the rest of the story. Not sure I can pay any book [...]

    • Perfect, once again. Mr. Silvers is one of those authors whose writing forces you to tear through the book, always wanting more. The characters are so real that it's almost impossible to refrain from becoming emotionally invested. Once again set in St. Louis, this thriller encompasses most of the paranormal world with the addition of a god here and there. Things explode, bonds are forged, and the reader comes along for the ride with eager anticipation. Well done, Mr. Silvers! I can't wait until [...]

    • Still goodStill good, but the earlier books were better. Still has the snarky commentary, the crazy situations, and plenty of laugh out loud moments, but the storyline just seems less engaging. Maybe because there are just so many different characters and side plots going on the main storyline suffers, it's become sort of a side note to everything else going on. Still like it, would recommend it, and will read future instalments, but the earlier books were pretty awesome, this is just ok.

    • Love this series!!! Fantastical pell mell adventure!!! Must read this series in order or you will be hopelessly lost. You get swept up in the ongoing story of Indie and Nate, a cast of famous fairytale and mythological characters set in St. Louis. The story is engrossing, humorous and intriguing. Sarcastic humor, light read, thoroughly enjoyable. It does however end on a cliffhanger. Don't care much for that.

    • F*cking Carl (language in review)Nate is powerful, snarky, an asshole, cunning, sassy (yes, sassy,) and a wizard. Dude has power and powerful friends. This was hilarious and sorrowful at the same time. We get Nate' s humor and snarkiness (totally a word) plus his heartache. Shayne has quite the writing talent to make such an awesome world for us to fall in love with, plan scenes with, hurt with at times, and cheer for. Go team Temple!

    • Fantastic series! You've done it again from the very beginning of the book to the last past! You kept me riveted to my kindle not wanting to put it down to do anything! I laughed and cried. I was entranced by your descriptions of new places in the house. I felt like I was there watching and listening. I can't wait for the next book number 7! Looking forward to sleep to though lol. Can't wait to read any other ebooks you come up with!

    • Another roller coaster ride of thrills! If you've enjoyed the previous installments of Master Temple's adventures then strap in and prepare yourself for another wild ride! The quick drops and turns are sure to please. Watch out for those loops in the track they will leave you needing to raise your hands and scream. If you haven't yet discovered the world of Nate Temple what are you waiting for the adventure awaits!
